A Des 395 project at the UofA, in which we were required to analyze an existing Olympic pictogram style in order to replicate particular Edmonton locations. For this project, I utilized the Paris 2024 pictogram style, distinct for its use of unique colours, axes of symmetry, interchanging line thicknesses, and negative space. Five Edmonton locations were reproduced in the style, and transferred to merch applications.
